How to cancel or change your New Way Work plan, what happens to your points, and when money is returned.

Version 1.0, last updated 25 September 2026.

This page explains in plain language the cancellation and refund rules in our Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms. In case of conflict, the Terms and Conditions prevail.

Because we only work for businesses, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers does not apply.

Cancelling your Plan

  • Your Plan runs for an indefinite period and can be cancelled monthly.

  • You cancel in writing with one full calendar month’s notice, with effect from the end of a calendar month. For example, if you cancel on 10 March, your Plan ends on 30 April.

  • An email to info@newwaywork.nl is enough.

  • We can also cancel your Plan with the same notice.

During the notice period, everything continues as normal: you pay the monthly fee, you receive your Monthly Budget on the first day of each month and you can use your Balance.

What happens to your Points when your Plan ends

  • Monthly Budget and Rollover: you can use them until the end date. Any remaining Points, including Rollover, expire on the end date.

  • Extra Points: you can use them until the end date, after which they expire.

  • No cash value: Points are never refunded, paid out or exchanged for money, and you cannot transfer them to anyone else.

Please submit your last Requests in good time. We complete Requests confirmed before the end date if your Source Material is complete, but we may decline Requests that come in too late to finish before the end date.

Download your Deliverables in time. They remain in My NWW for a limited period after your Plan ends (see our Data Retention Policy). Once deleted, we cannot deliver them again.

Upgrading and downgrading

  • Upgrade: request at any time through My NWW or in writing, effective from the first day of the next calendar month. Until then, your current Plan, price and Monthly Budget remain in place. We confirm the new Plan, price and effective date in writing.

  • Downgrade: request at any time through My NWW or in writing, effective from the first day of the next calendar month. Rollover you already have stays available until it expires. We confirm the new Plan, price and effective date in writing.

  • Team plan: changes are arranged in a call.

  • Launch Rate: if you change Plan while the Launch Rate applies, the Launch Rate for the new Plan applies for the remainder of your original 12-month period. Changing Plan does not restart or extend that period.

First Project

The First Project is a one-off project of 12 Points for €295, excluding VAT, invoiced when the Agreement is formed. It does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. It ends when its Points have been used or have expired and the related Deliverables have been accepted. Unused Points expire after 30 days from the start of your First Project and are not refunded.

Launch Rate after 12 months

The Launch Rate is fixed for the first 12 months from your Start Date. After that, your Plan continues at our then-current list price. We tell you the new price in writing at least two months before the Launch Rate period ends. If you do not agree, you may cancel free of charge at any time before the new price takes effect, with effect no later than that date.

Other situations in which you can cancel free of charge

“Free of charge” means that your Plan ends no later than the date on which the change would take effect, without a further notice period. Fees for the period before that date remain payable as normal.

  • Price change: outside the Launch Rate period, we may change our prices once per calendar year, with at least two months’ written notice.

  • Higher point value: if we increase the point value of an existing work type in the Points Schedule, we tell you at least two months in advance.

  • Change to the Terms: if a change to the Terms is materially to your disadvantage, you may cancel before it takes effect.

  • Transfer of your Agreement: if we transfer your Agreement to an affiliated company or to a buyer of the New Way Work business, we inform you in advance and you may cancel.

You can also terminate your Agreement with immediate effect if we fail to perform a material obligation and do not remedy this within the reasonable period stated in your written notice of default, or if we are declared bankrupt or granted a suspension of payments.

When money is returned

We do not refund monthly fees that have already been invoiced, except where the Terms expressly provide for it. The Terms currently provide for this in one situation:

  • Force majeure lasting more than 30 days: either party may then terminate the Agreement with immediate effect. We invoice work already performed and credit any monthly fee you paid in advance for the period after termination.

In other situations, we put things right in Points rather than in money:

  • Justified complaint: we remedy the Deliverable without charging extra Points. If a remedy is not possible, we credit a proportionate number of Points to your Balance. See our Complaints Procedure.

  • Disputed Points: if you dispute the Points charged for a Request within 5 Working Days after Delivery, the disputed Points are not charged while we discuss them.

  • Work lost on our side: if Working Files or Deliverables are lost or damaged on our systems before acceptance, we redo the work without charging extra Points, provided you make the Source Material available again.

Nothing on this page limits rights you have under mandatory law.
